Apr 1 2008, 11:37 PM EDT For all who attended this weekends park's charrette let me say thank you. Thank you for volunteering to dedicate 3 straight days to the reclamation of our neighborhood parks. Thank you for believing that you have a voice and that it will be heard and respected. Thank you for sharing your visions, goals, and hopes with old friends and new friends. Thank you for giving %100 of your energy to this dream of reclaiming our land. And thank you for giving this young man hope that communities can still come together and accomplish great things when they work together trough all their differences and focus on common goals. I look forward to moving this plan forward with the help of my neighbors in the coming weeks, months and years. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |
