Program Outline
The Spokane County Conservation District's (S.C.C.D.) water quality monitoring volunteer program involves residents in caring for watersheds by monitoring local streams and rivers and providing credible and useful data that can help guide management decisions, and educate and increase watershed resident's awarnessawareness about water quality issues. SCCD water quality volunteers are people who want to be actively involved in caring for their local watersheds. West Valley City School students perform monthly monitoring at Peaceful Valley River Walk.
