Objective:
We the students of WV City School will help the citizens of Peaceful Valley by plan, design, build, and monitor a community garden Community Gardens get people moving, improve fitness, and reduce risk to certain diseases. Gardens also provide individuals and families access to fresh, nutritious food. Gardening also brings people back into contact with the outdoors and nature, in addition, it also increases community pride along with that they get people together so they can talk with their neighbors and keep up with what’s going on in the neighborhood.

-2” x 8” x 8’ Boards
-Soil
-Bolts
-Plant Starts (From City School Green House)
-4” x 4” x 3’ Boards
-Water Supply

Site Visit to Riverfront Farms in West Central Neighborhood.
Seek Out Donations For Materials.
Seek Out Donations For Materials.
Begin Constructing Raised Beds @ City School Wood shop.
Continue Constructing Raised Beds @ City School Wood shop.

Seek Out and Identify Neighborhood Residents That Will Lease Raised Beds.
Obtain Necessary Permits, and Permissions.
Install Raised Beds to Victory Garden Location.
Begin Plantings.
