The mission of the Spokane Parks and Recreation Department is to enhance personal health and well-being, to improve the quality of life, and to further develop a sense of community with the citizens of Spokane. We promote and provide leisure, recreational and cultural opportunities for all areas, all skill and age levels. We offer many diverse programs through Special Interest, Corbin Art Center, City-Wide Special Events, Aquatics, Senior Centers, Youth and Community Centers, Summer Parks, Adult Sports, and Specialized Recreation Programs.
